'These pods are like no other.
They're so well equipped with the finer details like a powerful shower a beautiful mattress
and all the little extras like shower gel, washing up liquid,
dishwasher etc included make it really stand out.
They're in a great location with plenty to do in the surrounding areas

Hot Tub Information

Our hot tubs at Castle Guards Farm Retreat compliment our outdoor space,
allowing you to relax and enjoy the experience of outdoors in the warmth of your own private wood fired hot tub.

Imagine sitting back in a steaming wood fired hot tub and savouring the night sky
and the crackle of a log fire and sharing the experience with family and friends.
Our hot tubs are kind on the environment and on your skin with no harsh chemicals, thoroughly great for your wellbeing.

As the hot tub is heated by the fire, the only noise you will hear is
the occasional crackle of wood burning which adds to the natural ambience of bathing in a wood fired hot tub.

How quickly will the water heat up?

It takes approximately 2 hours in the summer months to heat up to 34C and 3 hours in the winter months.
Prior to your arrival we would prepare the hot tub so it is ready for you to use as soon as you arrive.

Can I control the temperature?

Yes! There is a thermometer to enable you to monitor the water temperature,
once the water is hot enough (do not exceed over 37C),
you can close the air intake on the stove and the fire will die down and stop heating the water.

How frequently is the water changed?

The hot tub is designed to give you a natural bathing experience,
and there are no noisy filter systems,
the water is therefore changed every 2 days and between changeovers.
If you decide to add the hot tub to your stay you will be provided with hardwood logs for use in the burner.
